Frequent Questions & Answers:
I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday- Saturday. Wednesdays & Sundays, I am off.
The week days are appointments and walk ins upon availability. Saturdays are walk in days only. Walk ins are considered tattoos that can be drawn up and tattooed within 2 hours or less.
Major holidays such as; Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, New Years Day, and Fourth of July I will not be in the shop.
A consultation consists of a face to face or video chat; between you and I meeting each other about your tattoo. This is where you convey what you’re looking for in the tattoo.
You can provide any references you’ve found to help articulate what your goal is. References are often useful for me to understand what your interests and style.
Price estimates can be given at any time. To have a more accurate estimate: please provide me with an image of the idea/sizing you are thinking of.
The estimate is only a rough estimate (ball park figure; and is subjected to be changed), once each design is sized and printed, you’d get the final overall price. As stated above, it will be provided before committing to the tattoo.
My minimum for any tattoo is $80. Each tattoo is priced based off of size, detail, intricacy, color or black and grey, and body location.
I like to provide each client with multiple options with each price provided beforehand. No hidden prices, fees, or charges. This helps allow each client to choose based on their end goal for the tattoo as well as a budget friendly option.
I offer free touch up on any tattoos I’ve created within 6 months. EXCLUDING: Hands, Feet, Fingers, and Face tattoos. These exclusions are considered high-wear areas; if a touch up is needed you would have to pay an additional fee. You will know if a tattoo needs a touch up two weeks after getting the tattoo.
Appointments for touch ups are strictly week days only.
I require a $60 deposit for small to medium, $100 deposit for larger tattoos. Deposits are required for each appointment.
Following making any appointments, a deposit is required to keep the appointment date, time, and drawing.
Each deposit goes towards the final price of your tattoo, unless you cancel within or fail to show up for the appointment made. If you need to reschedule, the deposit will only be transferred once.
All Deposits are NON-REFUNABLE.
After being late 15 minutes may subject you to make a new appointment/rescheduling. This may result in an additional deposit.
After making an appointment, and you have to cancel for any reason; your deposit is forfeited and you will need to leave a second one for any future appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule multiples may result in forfeiting any future bookings.
Please make sure you are hydrated, well fed, and well rested.
The week leading up to the appointment please try to moisturize the area, keep hydrated, and be well rested. Please eat 40 minutes to an hour before the appt. You do not need to put any lotions on before the appt.
The only other thing you may need to do before hand is putting on numbing cream, but please see my section on numbing cream above.
Yes, you can. However, for some people numbing cream causes the skin to become rubbery as well as less receptive to the ink. With that being said, it can cause the tattoo to heal poorly. I would recommend to try getting a tattoo without the numbing cream.
I do not offer numbing cream inside the shop however, I would recommend researching different brands, and applying as directed before the appointment. Most creams say to apply an hour to 45 minutes before an appointment, for the cream to be fully affective.
Brands that I have worked with that does numb successfully are AOBBiY, Mad Rabbit, Dr Numb, and Painless Tattoo. I do recommend that you do a patch test of which brand that you decide to pick prior to the appointment to make sure that you’re not allergic or have a negative reaction to it.
Congratulations! You’re looking to get your first tattoo. I recommend that you eat 30-45 minutes prior to our session. I also like for my clients to bring a drink with sugar as a just in case.
As your excitement, nervousness, and eagerness to get your first tattoo can often have clients feeling lightheaded. These precautions help allow me to provide the best care to you as you get your first tattoo. I promise to you that you will be fully aware of each step throughout the process, and the most important, the After Care of your tattoo. If you happen to forget your Aftercare please see my aftercare section here on my website.
I work with all different skin complexions, to see examples please see my portfolio!
My inks are made with organic pigment, distilled water, witch hazel, alcohol. They are completely vegan, and non-hazardous.
Fusion Ink is dedicated to producing the highest quality inks that are safe and legal.
Yes! Please just make me aware of the health conditions or medications you are on.
Everything that is used for each client is single use, other than my equipment. Single use items are disposed of after each client. Examples, Needles are disposed in a Labeled Sharps Container like a hospital. Once the container is full it’s disposed of by Health Department regulations.
My equipment, machines, power supply, cords, and chair; are sanitized after each client using hospital grade Matacide/Calvicide. This breaks down any BBP that could of contaminated the surface area.
If you’d like to be fully aware, I can always set up my station with you overseeing what I’m doing per your request.
I no longer do Cover ups, I would recommend finding an artist that specializes in cover ups.
I do not do Genital tattoos of any sort.
I will also not do any tattoo that represents hate or racism tattoos. If asked to do any hate tattoos, you will be put on a “Do Not Serve” list.
Lastly, I will not tattoo minors or first tattoos on the face, hands, neck, or face tattoos no exceptions.
